- "The Billingsley Family in America" by Alexander Davis -- One source states Charlotte lived in Van Buren Co., IA in 1870 but I don't find her there on the census and I believe she died in the 1850's because Charlotte's husband, John Billingsley remarried during the 1850's -- Last name might have been "Bagley"
