Notes - Carol took back her maiden name when she was divorced -- Carol lived in Springfield, MO in 2001 -- I was told that Candy or her sister, Carol, was in the process of getting, or had just obtained a divorce as of 2003 -- Carol and husband lived at Nixa, MO in 2007 -- Carol may have been md. to a "Lemmon" before marrying King -- I don't believe Carol had any children but does have stepchildren -- Info provided by Candy Brown: CandiceBrown@MissouriState.edu stated Carol had no children -- Carol a widow living in Nixa, MO in 2013 -- I suspect Carol was cremated as her obit makes no mention of a place of burial though Greenlawn Funeral Home East handled the arrangements -- Carol's obit stated she was survived by two sisters, Candy Brown and Nancy Irvine; Nancy was a daughter of Charles Perkins by an earlier relationship/marriage
